The Still Here Project
You Are Seen. You Matter. Your Story Is Not Over.
About The Still Here Project
The Still Here Project was born from lived experience with loss, trauma, violence, addiction, and homelessness. We understand what it feels like to lose loved ones, to feel forgotten, and to struggle in silence while the world moves on. Our mission is simple: to let people know they are seen, heard, valued, and STILL HERE. We are not here to judge or pretend we have all the answers. We are here to listen, support, and remind people that they matter and their story is not over.
Built on compassion and honesty, The Still Here Project creates a community where people can be real about their pain and struggles. Through outreach, storytelling, community conversations, and initiatives like The Step Away Initiative, we reach people before they feel like giving up. We believe that stronger communities are built when we show up for one another, acknowledge the invisible struggles people carry, and remind them that their choices, their lives, and their futures still matter.
